On the USDM models, the VG had the sensor on the oil filter tree, but on some JDM/Eu/Aus (RHD) models, I've seen it on the opposite side of the engine. I can't tell where the source is from (the oil filter tree still, the block, etc?) The real reason I ask is that on my RB26, I have a "NISMO" oil filter tree for it (has direct hookups for an oil cooler, as the OEM RB26's didn't really have one...they did, but it was the "heat exchanger" thingy like many modern Nissans have) and it no longer has a place for the OEM oil pressure sending unit (oddly enough, it's the exact same part on the Z32). My question is, can it be relocated, and if so, where? (if this belongs in the technical forum, then mods please put it there...but I'm looking for an answer pretty quickly and it seems as if no one ever looks at the technical forum!)
